We only collect what we need to design, make and fit your project, and we look after it carefully.
01Who is responsible for your information
Forest and Stone Ltd (company number 16410667, Highfields, New Road, Fundenhall, Norwich, Norfolk NR16 1HG) decides how your personal information is used and is responsible for looking after it.

02What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and home address.
- Your project: measurements, drawings, notes and photographs of your space, your choices of design and finish, and details we need to access your home.
- Payments: invoices and records of what you have paid. We don't store card details.
- Our conversations: emails, messages and notes of calls.
We collect this from you directly, when you get in touch or when we visit.

This website has no analytics and no advertising, and it does not set cookies. See our cookie notice for more.
If you use the enquiry form on our contact page, the details you enter (your name, email, phone number, town or postcode and message) are passed to Web3Forms, a form service that emails them to us. They are used only to reply to your enquiry.
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when pages load. Google's own privacy policy explains how it handles this. The Instagram link takes you to Instagram, which has its own privacy policy.
04How we use it, and why we're allowed to

We don't send marketing emails and we never sell your information.
05Who we share it with
Only where needed to do the work, and only what they need:
- specialists and suppliers working on your project, such as stone fabricators or delivery companies;
- Web3Forms, which delivers messages sent through our website enquiry form to our inbox;
- our accountant, bank and professional advisers;
- the companies that provide our email, file storage and accounting software;
- anyone we are required to share it with by law.
Some of these providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, they are covered by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual protections.
06How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go ahead: 12 months from our last contact.
- Customer and project records: six years after the final payment, as required for tax, and for longer if needed for the length of your guarantee.
- Photographs of finished work: until you ask us to remove them.
07Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or send it to you or another organisation. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time.
Just email or call us. We will reply within one month and there is normally no charge.
08Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
09Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
